Project - Swarovski ring
Ring made with a crystal bead wrapped with copper wire

Material
- ± 2 m of Beaders' Choice silver plated copper wire 22 Gauge baby blue
- 1 Swarovski cosmic bead 5523 12 mm crystal AB 001
Tools
- Tool Magic protective coating
- Teflon tips hammer
- Cutter pliers
- Chain nose pliers
- Ring mandrel
How-to steps
Step 1

Cut 40 cm of 0.6 mm metallic wire.
Step 2

Wrap the 0.6 mm wire five times around a mandrel that is the same size as your finger.
Step 3

Remove mandrel.
Step 4

Push the wrapped parts together so that a ring comes out. Wrap the end of the wire around the ring, as shown in illustration.
Step 5

Cut 20 cm of 0.6 mm wire.
Step 6

Take the new 20 cm piece of wire, and attach by wrapping it around the ring. Slide on a bead.
Step 7


Fix the bead on ring by wrapping the wire around the ring, as shown in illustration. Cut excess wire off with side cutter.
Step 8

Cut 70 cm of 0.6 mm wire.
Step 9

Fix the new piece of wire on ring, as shown in illustration.
Step 10

Wrap the wire diagonally around the bead.
Step 11

Wrap the wire diagonally in the other direction.
Step 12

Wrap the wire horizontal around the bottom of the bead, as shown in illustration.
Step 13

Fix the wire by wrapping it around ring and cut excess wire off with side cutter.
